Susan Blumenstein was born in Toronto, Canada. She studied at the University of Toronto, obtaining a Masters degree in Social Work. Susan initially was a consultant in her primary field eventually branching out into the computer field, teaching, and developing websites.
She has always been involved in the arts, in particular music and dance performance. Originally experimenting with photography as a hobby it became Susan’s main interest. Over the years, to fine tune her craft, she studied many phases of the art at Ryerson University, displaying her work and assuming various commissions.
She works in black and white as well as colour, concentrating primarily in the former media, portraying people, situations, cityscapes and landscapes from very imaginative points of view.
